Our Story

For 35 years, we’ve worked to provide women the hope and support they need to choose life when facing an unexpected pregnancy.

In May of 1982, the Bowie Crisis Pregnancy Center opened its doors to provide real options for women: help and hope, for now and eternity, to women making decisions regarding unexpected pregnancies. Those foundational values and our mission of “empowering individuals to make healthy, informed, life-affirming choices” have remained steady as we have watched the name evolve, locations expand, and services grow.
Over the last 35 years, we have ministered to nearly 30,000 women and their families by providing completely free, confidential, professional services. The Pregnancy Clinic Ministry is a refuge where the truth is spoken in love, the Gospel is shared, and where a drink from a “cup of cold water” is offered. Within our doors, women receive help, embrace healing, and see life as God sees it…precious and full of hope.

Our Mission

The Pregnancy Clinic Ministry is a medical non-profit offering Help, Hope, and Healing to women and their families facing unexpected pregnancy, giving them the tools to choose life for their babies and find the hope of the Gospel.

A Non-profit Ministry: The Pregnancy Clinic is a local tax-exempt, non-profit ministry. All of the services are free to anyone in need. Funding comes primarily from the generosity of individuals, organizations, churches, and foundations that share the passion for serving women, teens, and families in crisis.
